I have a Tesla model Y. There’s really no other better option than Tesla’s wall connector for me. I bought this 2 years ago. And its working perfect.. I rarely used public charger since I installed this at my home.
I am going to have one more EV so let’s see if I can get its universal wall connector.
+ PROS: I really Tesla EV specific functions like opening of charge port with a button on charging handle. Plus adding to Tesla app it really makes it smart to use. For those using Tesla's energy devices ecosystem this is perfect one to fit in. Very much cost effective compared to smart functions it's built with. 4 Years of whooping warranty shows it's soundness.

For Tesla users it’s just perfect unit. But for non-Tesla EVs there are much better options available. But still making this a worth charger even if you have other EV, you can use with an adapter.

I use wall connector for my Tesla MS and MY, it is working all good. Using Tesla app for charging related settings. All important things for charging are working well. No complaints.
Plus my utility provider offered a great deal on rebate using this charger. So very happy with using Tesla car and charger both.
