We were looking for simple charger. An when we bought Mach e at that time we had a coupon and bought this charger from Amazon. Nothing much researched when bought but it’s working fine with the car.

+ PROS: Good performance with 40A charging. Not fastest but it's good. Easy to install. Overall charger is reliable so far.
    - CONS: higher cost if haven't had coupon then had to think about this. Initially faced connectivity issues and couple of times app suddenly stopped communicating with charger. But else worked fine.

Pricing wise little costlier charger compared to other options available in market. Apart from that it works perfect. If anyone can get with rebate or discount deal then good to get this.

I bought it 3 months ago, came with very nice packaging and brochures. Easy to use but faced some difficulty when first time connecting it wifi and phone app. It was showing some unknown error couple of times and then it connected, where anyway I just followed instructions only.

I did a hardwired connection removing Nema 14-50 plug, coz I wanted higher power output at 48amps. Overall good experience using it and app also works reasonably well.

+ PROS: Power output wise works really perfect with expected charging speed for my Chevy and Rivian. I also used it for my Tesla and works just perfect. Phone app is good packed with all smart charger functions. Very Good connector material. I notices it, it just mistakenly fell twice from my hand but nothing happened. Still works great. I mostly use Electrify America superchargers and use their app and same app is needed for home charger as well. So just one app all charging related stuff.
    - CONS: Big size charging unit - could have made it smaller unit but anyway I don's faced any issue. But if someone is installing in garage not that broad then it may cause issues in parking vehicle and using charger. Very thick charging cable. I have one ChargePoint and it's cable is very much easy to handle. But this EA's charger needs little more effort to wind and unwind.
